Mission & Overview

Stock Models is a division of Stock Production, LLC.  We are a worldwide listing service for freelance and non-exclusive talent worldwide who are available for the full range of image projects, including those that may require a full release (i.e. - stock photography).  We are not an agency or management company, we do not guarantee work for our listees, and we do not charge membership fees for our assistance.

Due to the explosion of image creation and usage resulting from the convergence of traditional imaging and digital communication, the need for quality photography has grown exponentially in the past few years.  With an increasing number of professionals and businesses requiring new images on a regular basis, stock photography is becoming the source of choice for many art directors, advertisers, and publishers who need quality photographs in a timely fashion.

Without quality talent willing to sign a full release however, Corbis^®, Stone^®, The Image Bank^®, and thousands of other stock image repositories and agencies large and small would be reduced to selling just landscapes and still life.  That is why Stock Models was originally created.

At Stock Models our goal is to showcase professional talent from fashion to fitness, from comics to curmudgeons, from second-graders to senior citizens.  Through Stock Models, all of our talent are open to negotiating talent/modeling fees for stock photography in exchange for signing a full release relinquishing any hold on their copyright to the images the photographer makes of them.

Unlike listing services charging fees or requiring registration prior to searching a database, Stock Models has no barriers to new clients or talent. We also don't rely on listing everyone who applies to us, which would increase the problem of trying to cast a job by presenting hundreds or thousands of choices when clients only want a handful of the best. We're readily available by phone and email to fulfill your casting needs, and if we don't have the talent you're looking for, chances are we can find it through one of our partners or with the help of the thousands of professionals who are a part of our network.  Finally, Stock Models strives to maintain regular and direct contact with our talent and as well as making regular updates to their portfolio pages.

In the coming months we will be expanding these pages with more extensive portfolios, model resumes, audio, video, and more.
